Choose two companies in the hospitality or dietetics industry (based on your major)
that have career information postedon their Web sites. Spend time reviewing the information provided about the careers at these companies and then prepare
a critical evaluation of the type of information included.

Describe how the websites provide information to the potential candidates about the corporate culture?
How do the websites attract potential applicants?
How do the companies describe the work environment or position to those viewing the site?
What information is presented to applicants about the application and selection process?
What do the sites do particularly well? Explain how the things the sites do well impacts applicants.
If you were a manager at each of these properties, describe at least 2 specific recommendations you
would make to improve the quality of each of
the sites and describe why those changes would help
the property with recruitment and selection.
Find a job description posted for a job at one of the two companies you investigated. Based on the job description
and one specific company, complete the following activities.
1. Suggest three specific recruitment methods or sources your
selected company could utilize to fill this open
position. Discuss reasons why you recommend each specific recruitment method or source
for this position.
2. Design a selection process to use for
the initial screening and final screening of applicants.
Select at least four different screening processes that applicants for the SPECIFIC POSITION you have identified would
have to go through in the hiring process. Detail each of the four processes including what will be assessed and list the specific criteria
used to evaluate the potential candidates.
