Proposal/Thesis statement — The proposal should consist of a paragraph or more discussing which poem you plan to write about and why. Which element will you discussion and use to argue the main point in your essay?

Topic: Use the elements that we have studied throughout the course to structure your thesis and direction.
Outline: An Analytical Sentence Outline is required. And example can be found on p. 38 of Literature: An Introduction to Reading and Writing.
Guidelines: Make use of the materials found at the end of each chapter for suggestions and direction. This essay will be written in present tense. As with the previous paper, I would like to see your analysis of the poem. I would like to see your discoveries and the connections that you have made. Do not retell the poem.
